A Publisher or Affiliate is someone who promotes other peoples products or services and receives a commission in return. HOW IT WORKS (see diagram 1 to the left) Any website can use affiliate marketing to create income. This could be with an information website, an online store or a blog. You (the publisher/affiliate) have access to banners or text links to promote a product or service from online businesses on the Dalphi Network. These banners or links will have your unique id in the code, you just copy and paste this code and place on your website. If your website visitor makes a purchase from that website within 30 days (or whatever timeframe has been set) you will receive a commission for sending that customer to their website. Dalphi uses a world class tracking system to track the customer from the time they click on the banner up until the specified timeframe. The Benefits of joining Dalphi as a Publisher/Affiliate are: Create an income stream with any kind of website by promoting other peoples products and services on your website. We earn when you earn - the Dalphi network is constantly building relationships with quality advertisers to bring you a variety of products and services from the NZ market. With a user friendly interface, you can track your progress in real time. We understand that affiliate marketing is relatively new to New Zealand and we are newbie friendly. We accept entry level affiliates and only request that you have a working website to join. Commissions are paid monthly, for the previous month with a $25 threshold. If you have not reached $25 for the month, we will hold your commission until the following month and pay once you reach $25. If you wish to cancel your account, you will be paid what is owed.
When one of your website visitors clicks on the banner they are taken to that online retailers website.
An extended example:
Ann's website (the publisher) sells children's gifts, she finds a business with children's party supplies (ABC Party, the advertiser) to promote from the Dalphi Network.
Ann applys for permission to use the banner or text link for ABC Party, once accepted Ann takes the banner code (specifically assigned to that banner and Ann) and places on her website.
Once a visitor clicks on the banner and is taken to the ABC Party website, tracking begins. Depending on what the advertiser has set for tracking time (this information is available when requesting the banner), Ann will receive a commission if her visitor makes a purchase within that time.
For this example we will use 30 day tracking time: If the visitor that Ann referred makes a purchase directly from ABC Party's website on day 19, then Ann will receive a commission for that sale. If the commission rate is at 10% and the visitor made $100 purchase from ABC Party, then Ann will receive a $10 commission payment for that sale.
It is a win-win situation. Ann makes money from goods she doesn't have to stock or provide and ABC Party receives more sales.
